The Man

My name is Zack Wentz.  I am frequently an author, musician, artist, budget chef, and poverty-stricken working-stiff.  I am much less frequently asleep.

A small portion of the writing I’ve produced has appeared, or is forthcoming, in Nerve, Fiction International, Black Clock, Golden Handcuffs Review, Opium, In Posse, Pindeldyboz, Mad Hatters’ Review, Swink, Word Riot, elimae, The Vestal Review, The Dream People, Smith Magazine’s Six-Word Memoir anthology, Not Quite What I Was Planning, and elsewhere.  My novel The Garbageman and the Prostitute was published by Chiasmus Press in 2005, is already out of print, and used copies of it are apparently going for an idiomatic arm and a leg (sorry about that; it doesn’t do me any good either).

I am a founding member of the musical projects Kill Me Tomorrow, The Dabbers, and Tender Buttons (the last is on hiatus, until I find a good reason to press the “on” switch again).

I also might well be trying my best.
